读者质疑

2021/07 Hoya camphorifolia：

2020年的一篇论文和2021年的4篇论文，可以从尺子的两道划痕判断出肿瘤图像中的尺子是同一把，这些论文来自不同的单位。Fig 6B. "Representative images of dissected tumours from nude mice and tumour weight from different groups".

An image of the same ruler is used to provide scale in Fig 7B of Li et al (2021b).

The authors are from unrelated institutions. Is it possible that part of the present research was conducted by a third-party laboratory?

A third sighting of this peripatetic ruler! Fig 7c from Jia et al (2021), "Representative images of transplanted tumors in tumor-bearing nude mice, n = 15".

UPDATE Two more sightings from Figs 3i, 5h of Zhou et al (2020). "Representative macroscopic image of a xenograft tumor after treatment with oe-circ_002117 or oe-NC"; "Representative xenograft tumor pictures upon treatment with miR-370 mimic, miR-370 inhibitor or controls".

Fig 6A of Xin et al (2021), Fig 6A. "Representative macroscopic images of xenograft tumor formation in nude mice".

作者要求撤回这篇论文，理由是动物实验并不支持论文的所有结论。但是编辑们根据调查结果，认为这些图片严重影响论文的结论。该论文于2024年2月23日被撤稿。

周文策，兰州大学第二医院院长、党委副书记，教授，主任医师。主持各类科研基金项目共15项，发表中英文期刊论文110余篇。获“甘肃省领军人才”、“陇原创新青年人才”、“全省优秀医师”、“全省医德医风建设先进个人”、“兰州大学师德标兵”等称号，以第一完成人获省级科技进步二等奖2项、三等奖1项。
